Fibrexcel Bulk Fiber is
manufactured from alumina-silica materials, and it has a use limit
of 1260ºC.
Fibrexcel Z Bulk Fiber is manufactured from alumina-silica-zirconia
materials, having a use limit of 1450ºC.
Fibermax Bulk Fiber is a polycrystalline mullite fiber, manufactured
by a sol-gel process, with a use limit of 1600ºC.
Bulk Fiber products are used as a high temperature fill or packing
materials in a variety of high temperature applications and as raw
material for the manufacture of other ceramic fiber product forms
such as board, paper and vacuum shape. The shot content and fiber
length of Bulk Fiber can be adjusted for application in the friction,
coatings and composites markets. |
