CERAMIC FIBER - FIBREXCEL / FIBERMAX
ITM manufactures two inorganic fibers. These are ceramic fiber and alumina fiber. These fibers are used as raw material for the manufacture of other ceramic fiber product forms such as BOARD, PAPER and VACUUM FORMED SHAPES. ITM's experience with a wide range of user requirements has enabled us to improve the raw material fibers and provide innovative products.
An amorphous ceramic fiber which is drawn into fibers by blowing with high-speed air. The two grades are FXL (Al2O3-SiO2） and FXL-Z (Al2O3-SiO2-ZrO2).
This product is made of polycrystalline mullite alumina fiber manufactured using our company's proprietary sol-gel method technology. It has excellent heat resistance. The fiber strength is superior to that of conventional products.
